Job Summary
The Director of Nursing is responsible for managing all functions within the Nursing Department, including resident care, nursing staff, and training. He/She promotes nursing services that help residents maintain their independence, self-esteem, and identity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the nursing staff to provide high-quality care to residents
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident care and satisfaction
Qualifications:
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Minnesota
- Three years of management experience in geriatric and rehabilitation nursing preferred
- Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of MDS processes
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
