Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have the following key responsibilities:
- Laying out, assembling, and installing wiring in university buildings and outside electrical distribution systems according to blueprints, specifications, and established practices.
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical appliances and equipment, diagnosing and correcting electrical systems and equipment malfunctions, testing, adjusting, sequencing, synchronizing, and aligning such systems and equipment.
- Determining methods and sequences of operations required to relocate, design, install, test, repair, and modify electrical systems and equipment by interpreting blueprints, wiring, and schematic diagrams and following technical verbal and written instructions.
