Overview
Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, Laboratory of Prof. Katz, is seeking an individual to serve as a part-time Laboratory Technician. No special knowledge, skills or preliminary experience required.
Responsibilities
- Receive, login and store reagents, standards and solvents as per established by lab standard operating procedures.
- Cleaning up glassware and maintain an organized lab e.g., ordering lab consumables (plastic, gloves, printing paper, etc.), refilling the tips boxes, keep clean lab space, etc.
- Preparation of analytical solution and samples following the detailed procedures
Qualifications
Education :
Minimal Qualifications : High School Diploma or equivalency
Preferred Qualifications : Bachelor degree
