Key Responsibilities:
- Take and record vital signs and detailed medical histories to assist physicians in diagnosis and treatment.
- Prepare patients for examination, ensuring they are comfortable and informed.
- Perform phlebotomy and administer medications as directed by the physician.
- Authorize drug refills and communicate prescription information to pharmacies.
- Collect and prepare laboratory specimens for testing in compliance with medical standards.
- Ensure the clinic runs smoothly by assisting with various administrative and clinical tasks.
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred but not required—certification will help you stand out!
- Experience with Athena EMR is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for providing high-quality patient care.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment while delivering compassionate care.
