We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our team of healthcare professionals. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing medical care to patients with cancer and blood disorders, including oncology and hematology. The Nurse Practitioner will also be expected to collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients, maintain accurate medical records, and provide patient education and counseling.
Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with cancer and blood disorders.
- Perform physical examinations and medical histories.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient's clinical problems and health care needs.
- Provide patient education on cancer treatments, side effects, and lifestyle modifications.
- Provide assistance in the management of chemotherapy, and other treatments.
- Assist with patient follow-up visits.
Requirements:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of TN.
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Familiarity with standards of care for special needs individuals and memory care patients.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
