The LIFE INSURANCE MANAGER is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing the sales, growth, and operational management of life insurance products and services. This position involves direct interaction with agents, agencies, carriers, and internal stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of business strategies and company objectives. The manager will focus on fostering agent relationships, driving product sales, and ensuring the smooth operation of life insurance-related initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the sales and growth goals of Life Insurance products and Life Insurance contracted agents, working closely with them.
- Responsible for the management of the referral program for agents and agencies contracted with Claro, and all Life Insurance contracted agents and agencies.
- Manage the direct relationship with Uplines and carriers.
- Respond to carrier requests regarding Life Insurance related issues.
- Structure the team to provide excellent support and assistance to agents and agencies promoting Life Insurance.
- Present and execute business line growth strategies to achieve company objectives.
- Prospect and train Life Insurance agents.
- Coordination and monitoring of all Life Insurance sales related initiatives.
- Develop and execute strategies to drive Life Insurance sales with agents and agencies from other lines of business.
- Track and report Life Insurance production.
Requirements:
- Hold technical knowledge about Life Insurance products, practices, and regulations, as well as experience in driving Life Insurance product sales.
- In-depth knowledge of underwriting guidelines, and risk assessment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex information and make sound decisions.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with agents, clients, and internal teams.
- Problem-solving abilities to address challenges that arise during the commercial process.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team-oriented environment.
- Relevant industry certifications - Life and Health Insurance License is a plus.
- Fluent conversational advanced English and Spanish
- Work under minimal supervision.
- Other duties as assigned directly by the CGO and/or Claro's CEO.

- 100% On-site in Claro’s office in Coral Gables, Miami, FL.
