What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paint Associate, 1st Shift position at Clarus Glassboards LLC?
The Paint Associate will be primarily responsible for handling glass through the paint department, inspecting painted/fabricated glass to reveal any discrepancies or diminishing properties of product, while maintaining a clean work area and positive attitude. In addition, the associate will continue to seek ways to add value to the department.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The removal of excess paint from the edges of Glassboards.
- Carefully processing glass through infrared bake oven.
- Applying proprietary adhesion properties to tempered glass for paint bonding.
- Operating glass washer and maintaining schedule queue as glass moves through the conveyor line.
- Following daily square footage/production schedule.
- Proper tagging and interpretation of work order through paint line(s).
