What are the responsibilities and job description for the Scheduling Coordinator position at Clarus Health Alliance?
We have an immediate opening for a part-time to full time medical office scheduling coordinator.
The scheduling coordinator maintains doctor's schedules to make the most efficient and effective use of their time. Maintains positive relations with both patients and referral sources, and represents the practice in a professional, friendly and patient-focused manner by performing the following duties:
· Answer, respond and document phone calls, requests, and questions from patients in a timely manner. Calls should be accurately managed or redirected appropriately.
· Data collection, compiling and organizing incoming referrals.
· Coordinate with referring physician offices to obtain all necessary billing and patient demographic information as well as pertinent medical records.
· Schedule patient appointments in accordance with scheduling guidelines and policies to ensure an equitable and effective patient distribution.
· Ensure patient demographics are updated correctly within the EHR system.
· Provide necessary information and documentation to patients for upcoming appointments.
· Monitor and adjust schedules as needed to accommodate changes or unexpected events.
· Provide administrative support as needed to ensure efficient and effective front office flow.

Consistent hours (PT and FT)

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00/hour
