About this role
As an Employment Specialist you will work to provide Supported Employment services to eligible consumers, who express a desire to work and that, due to the impact and severity of their mental illness have recently lost employment, been underemployed, or unemployed on a frequent or long-term basis. You will work with your clients to create a job search plan, identifying their strengths, vocational skills, and interests, to expedite employment. This role continues to work with the client after hire, providing job coaching, job skill and interpersonal training, until the client no longer needs or desires such specialty services.

What we are looking for:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year or more experience working with clients in the community on job development
- An understanding and sensitivity to serving a diverse client population
- Valid Georgia Driver’s License and clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR);
- Clean Criminal Back Ground Check (no conviction or credible evidence of abuse, neglect, or sexual exploitation-child or adult)
