What are the responsibilities and job description for the Substance Abuse Therapist position at Clarvida - Indiana?
As a Substance Abuse Therapist, you will work with children/youth, adults, and families to address their substance use. This includes determining underlying issues, identifying support systems and community resources available, and engaging the client and their supports in the recovery process. You will meet with clients regularly in their homes, office, or community to conduct assessments, treatment planning, and individual and group counseling and provide transportation as needed. This role serves as an advocate and will attend court hearings as required.

Does the following apply to you?
- One of the following:
- Licensed in Indiana as a Licensed Clinical Addiction Counselor (LCAC) or an Addictions Counselor (LAC)
- Licensed in Indiana as LSW, LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC and experience working with the Substance Abuse population
- Experience in the mental health field preferred
- Valid state driver’s license in good standing and at least current state minimum auto insurance
