About your Role:

As a Mental Health Professional on our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team, you’ll play a vital role in supporting adults with severe mental illness. Working with a dedicated team of multidisciplinary experts, you’ll provide compassionate care in clients' homes, workplaces, and community spaces. Through person-centered counseling, you’ll help clients build skills, reach treatment goals, and achieve healthier, happier lives while staying connected to family, friends, and their community.

You will work directly with clients ages 18 and older, conducting regular counseling sessions, teaching coping strategies, and helping them utilize their strengths and support systems. To ensure the best client outcomes, you’ll primarily work in the local community, with occasional office time. This role includes a weekly on-call rotation every 7-10 weeks, handled virtually or in person as needed, with additional PTO.

About the ACT Program:
The Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) program is one of the most widely researched models for treating adults with severe mental illness. Established in the 1970s, ACT provides comprehensive support—including housing, recovery resources, vocational assistance, and healthcare services—to help clients transition to greater independence and improved quality of life.

Does the following apply to you?

• Current Louisiana Licensure: CSW, LMSW, LCSW, PLPC, LPC, or LPC-S in good standing
• Valid State Driver’s License in good standing
