This position will report to the Senior Electrical Project Manager and will work part time during the school year and transition to full time during the summer.

JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking a motivated and talented Robotics and Automation Intern to join our dynamic engineering team. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge robotics projects and gain hands-on experience in the field. You will collaborate with experienced engineers and contribute to the development, testing, and implementation of new systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Identify manual operations as candidates for automation.
- Evaluate robotic equipment capabilities and vendor.
- Participate in the integration of hardware and software for robotic applications.
- Conduct experiments and analyze data to improve robotic performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve technical challenges.
- Document project progress and present findings to the team.
- Travel to various WI sites will be required.
- Perform all tasks assigned by the supervisor, while following all company, safety, and quality policies and procedures.
- Maintain regular attendance at work.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of robotics principles and technologies.
- Experience with various programming languages
- Experience with CAD software and hardware prototyping is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Must have a driver's license and good driving record
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Work near allergens, such as peanut, tree nuts, dairy, and soy.
- Good oral and written communication skills are required
