Job Description
Clason Point Partners Inc. (CPP) is seeking a Warehouse Specialist for a government contract in Washington, DC providing Warehouse work. More specifically, the Warehouse Specialist will move, palletize, stock, and deliver property as requested by customer. The Warehouse Specialist will also document and bar code incoming and outgoing shipments of materials and property to vendors or customers; conduct inventories; respond to help desk tickets in the areas of logistics, warehousing and property management; prepare equipment for disposal, set up furniture and stage equipment for conference center events, assemble furniture, document all customer request completions, and complete basic data entry computer tasks.
In addition, the Warehouse Specialist will be responsible for delivering the following IT equipment to workstations: monitors, laptops, printers, scanners, VTC, network equipment (Servers, Switches and Routers) and mobile devices such as iPhones. The individual will be required to perform the following:
- Receive and pick up IT equipment
- Barcode IT equipment
- Fill IT equipment requests
- Relocate IT equipment
- Inventory IT equipment
- Inventory Furniture
- Process excess IT equipment
The Warehouse Specialist must provide friendly customer service at all times.

Required Qualifications and Skills
Must have high school diploma, vocational school diploma, or GED certificate and minimum computer skills.
At least two years of experience in similar capacity within the Warehouse Specialist role.
Must have experience and certificates to operate the types of equipment required for contract performance.
Individuals shall be fully trained in lifting and moving techniques and have knowledge of the appropriate procedures and kinds of equipment needed to move specific items including the handling of equipment properly on dollies, pallet walkies, and forklifts to prevent damage or injury.
Individuals shall be literate and have the ability to communicate in English.
Heavy lifting is required.
