We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. Home every day and newer trucks
$0.56-0.64 cpm based on verifiable experience
Weekly average $1300-1500
Short haul pay, stop pay and unload pay if accessible
Duties
- Operate various types of vehicles, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and roll-off trucks.
- Execute route driving efficiently while maintaining schedules for timely deliveries.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Load and unload cargo as needed, ensuring proper handling of goods.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel usage.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any potential issues.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal driving regulations.
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role within commercial driving.
- Proficient in operating tractor-trailer combinations and other heavy vehicles.
- Strong knowledge of route planning and navigation tools.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety protocols.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
