Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires operating various types of trucks, including dump trucks, roll-off trucks, tankers, and refrigerated trailers. The Truck Driver will ensure timely deliveries and maintain the integrity of freight throughout the transportation process.
Duties
- Operate different types of trucks, including dump trucks, roll-off trucks, tankers, and flatbed trailers.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Plan routes effectively for timely deliveries while considering traffic conditions.
- Load and unload freight as necessary, ensuring proper handling of materials.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents that occur on the road.
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies during transportation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery status.
- Drive manual transmission vehicles when required.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Experience driving various truck types such as delivery drivers, refrigerated trailers, or flatbeds is preferred.
- Knowledge of route driving and freight handling procedures.
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
- Home every week
- Weekly average $1300-1500 weekly
- Running south central states
- Newer trucks
- Short haul pay, stop pay and unload pay if accessible
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening as part of the hiring process.
