Role:
The Handyman/Groundskeeper is responsible for conducting routine repairs and maintenance tasks to keep the buildings and grounds in top shape.
Responsibilities
- Inspects buildings/units, grounds, and equipment.
- Perform cleaning activities such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, etc.
- Operates hand tools and power equipment.
- Handles necessary repairs and maintenance locks, filling gaps on walls etc.
- Removes trash and other debris from outdoor areas.
- Conduct maintenance tasks as assigned.
- Collaborate with workers and other professionals.
- Reports issues to management.
Requirements and skills
- Ability to follow detailed instructions.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with supervisor, coworkers, and other professionals.
- Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including standing, bending, pulling, pushing, climbing, and lifting at least 50 pounds.
- Attention to detail.
- Problem-solving skills
- Self-motivation and the ability to work independently or as a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent
