This position is for our Crawford county office located in Pittsburg KS.
Duties:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities in a residential setting
- Assist with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for individuals
- Drive individuals to appointments, activities, and community outings
- Implement behavior support plans and assist with behavior management
- Document daily activities and progress notes
- Follow all applicable regulations and guidelines, including HIPAA and other privacy laws
Experience:
- Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR is a plus
- Familiarity with electronic documentation systems is beneficial
- Ability to lift and transfer individuals as needed
