CLASS is a community developmental disabilities service provider that operates in four counties with service centers in Coffeyville, Columbus, Independence, Parsons, and Pittsburg.
CLASS offers a wide range of innovative service options to meet individual needs and provide opportunities for persons with intellectual or other developmental disabilities to maximize their potential, independence, community inclusion, acceptance, and individual rights. CLASS services include Innovative Employment Options, Life Skills Enhancements, Community Living, Targeted Case Management (TCM), Supportive Home Care and Shared Living Homes.
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administrative or selected areas.
At least one year of experience within an HR position.
Other Requirements:
· Maintain a current and valid driver's license of the state of residence and be determined as an "insurable driver" by the automobile insurance carrier for CLASS.
· Comply with all federal, state, and local laws regarding communicable and infectious diseases and CLASS policies rules and practices.
· No records of convictions, administrative findings or history of abuse, neglect or exploitation of children or adults unable to protect their own interest, and conviction of other crimes, including, but not limited to crimes against persons, sex crimes, crimes against property, violation of personal rights, public safety, public morals, or any crimes that would be classified in Kansas as a felony or deemed unacceptable for employment with CLASS.
· Ability to communicate effectively with others.
· Read and comprehend written materials such as CLASS Policies and Procedures
· Works and honors commitments to participate as an effective member on team(s) to which assigned.
· Accomplishes the Performance Improvement Objectives agreed upon at the previous Performance Evaluation.

Job Duties:
This position is responsible for administrative and technical assistance to the Director of Human Resources in all tasks pertaining to the Human Resources function. Primary responsibilities are personnel administration, benefit enrollment, employee status changes, position updates, day to day H.R. office activities including keeping the Director of Human Resources updated on any important HR issues that arise, and any other additional duties assigned by the Human Resources Director.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 40- hours week 8a-5p

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
