What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate (Overnight - 3rd Shift) position at Class Produce Group LLC?
SUMMARY: The Warehouse Associate performs a variety of different tasks within the warehouse environment including assisting with selecting orders and loading trucks and trailers.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Load orders onto customer vehicle or transport truck(s) from the dock
- Operate Electric Pallet Jack in a safe manner
- Pull (select) orders according to the pick sheet, when needed
- Scan pallets/boxes of produce out of inventory
- Inspect produce to determine whether it meets an acceptable standard of quality
- Remove defective product so that it may be properly disposed of
- Stack cases of produce neatly and evenly on a pallet to ensure safe transport
- Have the order approved and checked by a Checker
- Clean work area and keep it free of water and debris
- Follow warehouse safety procedures for the operation of equipment, such as wearing proper clothing, safe food handling, and maintaining awareness of your surroundings and the other workers
- Performs other duties as assigned.

SCHEDULE:
Sunday through Thursday 10:00PM to 6:00AM
Requirements:EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Must be able to read and write English. Must be able to display basic arithmetic skills.
TRAINING, SKILLS, LICENSES: Produce experience is preferred. 1 year of experience working in a warehouse and Electric Pallet Jack experience preferred. Good communication, interpersonal, and team working skills.
WORKING CONDITIONS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and talk or hear. The employee is frequently exposed to wet, loud, cold, and/or humid conditions. The employee is frequently required to walk, use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, and stoop, rotate or twist, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 70 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
