Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate's or bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in leasing within the multifamily housing sector
- Strong knowledge of Fair Housing Laws
- Proven sales ability to drive leasing efforts and achieve occupancy targets
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with prospective residents, current tenants, and team members
- Ability to conduct property tours and effectively highlight features to potential renters
- Strong customer service skills, with a focus on building positive relationships with residents and prospects
- Ability to professionally address resident inquiries and resolve complaints and objections
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, enabling effective management of administrative duties, lease documentation, and follow-ups
- Attention to detail in processing applications, lease agreements, and maintaining client records
- Familiarity with property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio) for managing leasing processes and tracking tenant information
- Resourcefulness in finding solutions to leasing-related issues
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate potential residents' schedules
- Availability to attend community events or functions to promote the property
- Reliable transportation for commuting to different properties or attending community events
- Willingness to undergo a background check as part of the hiring process
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) to assist a diverse range of residents
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for efficient documentation and communication
