Looking to add to our team! Looking to hire a motivated individual to assist with tire changing/ oil undercoating during our busy season. Flexible hours could include Part time Thursdays/ Fridays only. Or Mon-Fri for the right candidate. Temporary position to assist during tire season with possibility for a full time/ year round position.
Job Overview
As a Shop Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our automotive service shop.
Duties
-Oil undercoating
-Tire mounting/ balancing
- Assist mechanics with automotive repairs and services
- Perform oil changes and basic maintenance tasks
- Handle heavy lifting of automotive parts and equipment
- Utilize hand tools and power tools as needed
- Support service technicians in various tasks
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the shop
Skills
- Experience as a mechanic or in automotive services is preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks
- Proficiency in oil changes and basic automotive maintenance
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools
- Knowledge of automotive repair processes is a plus
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
