What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Dealership AP & AR Specialist position at Classic CDJR Lancaster?
Classic CDJR of Lancaster is seeking an Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Clerk. Applicant should have good organizational skills. Must have basic accounting skills and knowledge of routine accounting functions. Previous dealership experience a plus but accounts payable experience a must!

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Post all payable invoices and purchase orders
- Issue vendor payments /checks
- Prepare accounts receivable statements and send to AR customers
- Prepare daily deposit from sales, parts and service.
- Receipt in checks and ensure they are posted to the right accounts and invoices.
- Perform basic and routine accounting functions
- Maintain assigned accounting schedules and reconcile assigned general ledger accounts
- Handle miscellaneous clerical tasks as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proficient with standard computer software and accounting software
- Automotive DMS helfp ul but not requires
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
