We are seeking a seasoned financial strategist who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment. In this role, you’ll shape our financial direction from day one—developing the systems, structures, and team needed to scale. As a key member of the executive team, your work will influence everything from capital strategy and tax planning to mergers and acquisitions, all while driving strategic decisions that propel our expansion.
This is a unique chance for the right person to take ownership of the finance function in a growth-focused company, build out a strong finance organization over time, and share in the upside as we continue to grow.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Financial Leadership
- Craft and execute financial strategies that drive profitability and expansion.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, ensuring data-driven decisions.
- Advise on investments, real estate deals, and broader growth initiatives.
2. Mergers & Acquisitions
Identify and evaluate opportunities to further our vision through acquisitions and partnerships.Lead due diligence, negotiations, and integration processes.Innovate M&A strategies to support our vertical integration goals.3. Tax & Financial Strategy
Guide tax planning and compliance efforts with a keen eye for efficiency.Offer creative solutions for complex financial and structural challenges.4. Funding & Investment
Develop and manage relationships with financial institutions, investors, and strategic partners.Secure and structure financing options that align with our growth trajectory.Continuously refine capital structure to support our evolving business needs.5. Network & Partnerships
Leverage personal and professional networks to uncover new opportunities, partnerships, and avenues of growth.Represent Classic Construction & Consulting at industry events, enhancing our reputation and outreach.6. Building the Finance Function
Lead the finance function with hands-on involvement in day-to-day financial operations and accounting.As the company scales, recruit, mentor, and develop a robust finance team to support ongoing growth.Implement processes, technology, and best practices that create a strong foundation for the future.7. Entrepreneurial Involvement
Bring an ownership mindset, with the willingness to invest in a rapidly growing company.Collaborate closely with fellow executives to shape and achieve our long-term vision.Adapt swiftly to new market opportunities, ensuring our financial strategies remain cutting-edge.Requirements :
Financial Acumen & Creativity : You combine rigorous financial expertise with a flair for innovative problem-solving.Hands-On Experience : A background in CFO or Controller roles is helpful but not mandatory if you have the skillset and drive to excel.M&A Enthusiasm : Experience with mergers and acquisitions—or a strong interest in leading them—is a major plus.Tax & Compliance Savvy : You know how to navigate regulatory requirements while optimizing tax strategies.Interest in Real Estate & Investments : You’re eager to explore real estate deals, strategic investments, and wealth-building opportunities.Connected & Collaborative : A broad business network and willingness to forge new relationships are highly valued.Ownership Mentality : Motivated to help build something from the ground up—and share in its success.What We Offer
