Job Summary
Baltimore Golf Academy Junior Coaches are responsible for assisting junior golfers as they learn to play golf through participation in Baltimore Golf Academy (BGA) clinics and classes. BGA Junior Coaches support junior golfers with a focus on safety, etiquette, and rules, in a positive and enthusiastic manner, during BGA clinics and classes. This role assists instructors and coaches with setting up, participating in activities, and storing equipment needed for BGA clinics and classes.
Essential Functions
- Assists with set up and return of equipment to storage for BGA clinics and classes.
- Accompanies junior golfers on course and assists with golf course etiquette and safety.
- Encourages junior golfers while learning to play golf.
- Collaborates with, and assists, other staff members in a professional and timely manner.
- Displays professional appearance and demeanor to golfers, vendors, and staff.
Work Environment
This job operates in a recreational environment including regularly working outside in the heat or cold. This role routinely uses equipment such as golf clubs, range balls, golf teaching equipment, and golf carts.

- Valid Maryland state driver’s license

- Must be available for weekend, holiday, and shift work
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
Seasonal part-time position during the golf season. The usual season is the middle of March through October. (Students who are unable to work the entire season are welcome to apply.) This role is expected to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Based on weather conditions, staffing, and the busyness of the Baltimore Golf Academy instruction schedule this role could work from 15 – 40 or more hours per week during the season.
