DESIGN STUDIO MANAGER

Summary

The objective of this position is to drive option sales by consulting with home buyers, providing

outstanding customer service, and interpreting customers’ design aesthetic into a tailored design.

Essential Job Functions

• Provide high level of customer service to homeowners by scheduling and managing design
  
  

appointments.

• Provide timely and effective follow up as appropriate depending on customer needs, and take
  
  

ownership of resolving customer questions and concerns.

• Realize maximum option sales within the buyers’ budget.
• Develop and maintain professional and positive relationships with vendors and suppliers,
  
  

keeping current with style and industry trends.

• Represent Design Studio for homeowner events.
• Maintain accurate paperwork on customer selections.
• Maintain Design Center appearance, displays, and merchandising.
• Provide accurate and timely updates to Design Studio Manager on progress and scope of
  
  

consulting work.

• Proactively identify potential issues and offer creative solutions to cultivate a culture of raving fans
  
  

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or related field.
• Minimum of five years of experience in a design operations management or executive role.
• Proven proficiency in MAC systems required.
• Sales Force knowledge a plus.
• Proficiency in Oracle, JD Edwards, and/or PeopleSoft a plus.
• Collaborative spirit: Strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to work effectively with a team
• A background in interior design, architecture, or a related field: While formal education is valued, we're open to candidates with non-traditional backgrounds who demonstrate exceptional talent and drive
