I ntroduction

Classic Granite & Marble has a 98,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art fabrication and production facility with an award-winning showroom located conveniently off Route 60 in Powhatan, VA. We carry an inventory of over 8,000 slabs including 300 different colors in our indoor facility. We handle all projects from beginning to end, which includes laser templating, CAD, fabrication, and installation.

Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, positive individuals with amazing people skills and attention to detail! Our clients include both residential homeowners and building contractors, and candidates need to not only be able to interface between our clients, but also between the various departments and employees.

JOB SUMMARY

The Retail Sales Specialist is responsible for maintaining c ustomer relationships with our retail partners / clients while processing purchase order s promptly and accurately. Th is individual must be proactive and d etail - oriented with excellent communication skills. They should have a passion for sales a s well as a knack for relationship building as they facilitate the customer experience while maximiz ing selling opportunities.

R ESPONSIBILTIES & DUTIES

  • Client Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with retail employees (kitchen designers, district managers, suppliers etc.) , educating them about our products , services , and best practices while collaborating with them to best serve the retail client.

Act as the primary point of contact to retail clients after their purchase order is received , keeping them updated on the status of their project .

  • Order Fulfillment
  • Receive and process purchase orders through multiple retail portals promptly and accurately.

    Coordi n ate with internal team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and product installation

  • Product , Service , and Retailer Knowledge
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of company's products and services to effectively communicate product features, benefits, upgrades, and unique selling points to retail clients .

    Operate effectively within multiple retail store portals to process purchase orders as well as communicate any and all updates regarding the retail client 's project to retail employees.

    Understand and navigate diverse contract rules from retail stores, ensuring compliance with their processing methods.

  • Showroom Appointments
  • Ability to take walk-in / scheduled clients for showroom appointments to effectively sell our product and service s

  • Problem Resolution
  • Address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by retail employees and / or retail clients promptly and effectively.

    Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure client satisfaction.

  • Additional duties as assigned.
  • QUALIFICATIONS

  • Required education : High School or equivalent
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication skills : verbal and written
  • Knowledge, or ability to learn multiple CRM software
  • Basic math skills, including square footage calculations
