We are currently seeking PRN Home Health Aides (HHA) to join our team in Marion County and East Lake County, covering The Villages, Ocala, Eustis, Mount Dora, and Tavares.
Position Summary
As a PRN Home Health Aide (HHA), you will assist patients with daily activities and provide essential support to ensure their safety and comfort. You will work under the supervision of a registered nurse or therapist, delivering high-quality care to individuals in their homes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide light housekeeping, meal preparation, and companionship to promote patient well-being.
- Monitor and report any changes in the patient’s condition to the supervising nurse.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and exercises as directed by the care team.
- Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients.
- Follow the patient’s care plan and maintain accurate documentation of services provided.
- Comply with all state and federal home health regulations.
Qualifications
- Must meet Florida Home Health Aide (HHA) certification requirements with one of the following:
- 75 hours of CNA/HHA certification
OR
- 40 hours of HHA certification AND 40 hours of CNA certification
- Active Home Health Aide (HHA) certification in Florida.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in home health or a related field preferred.
- Compassionate, reliable, and patient-focused.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and follow a care plan.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within Marion County & East Lake County (The Villages, Ocala, Eustis, Mount Dora, Tavares).
- CPR certification required.
