The Fixed Ops Director plays a crucial role in overseeing the service department of an automotive dealership. This leadership position is responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient operations, and high-quality vehicle maintenance and repair. Duties

• Lead and manage the service department team, including service technicians and support staff.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Oversee daily operations, ensuring that all service requests are handled efficiently and effectively.
• Monitor the quality of repairs and maintenance services provided to customers.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and dealership policies.
• Maintain relationships with customers, addressing concerns and providing solutions.
• Analyze service department performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
• Coordinate training programs for staff to enhance skills in automotive repair and customer service.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to vehicle maintenance.

Skills

• Proven experience as a Service Technician or Mechanic within a dealership environment.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures, including oil changes, air brake systems, diesel engine repair, and automotive diagnostics.
• Ability to lead a team while fostering a collaborative work atmosphere.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on achieving high-quality results.
• Familiarity with automotive repair software and diagnostic tools is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• A commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the automotive field.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $192,000.00 - $400,000.00 per year

• Dealertrack: 3 years (Preferred)
• Honda: 2 years (Preferred)
• FIxed Opertations: 5 years (Required)

• Midland, TX 79703: Relocate before starting work (Required)
