Photographer and Videographer

Overview
M-F 7:30am-2:30pm or option of 8:30-3:30 or 9am-4pm. We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Photographer/ Videographer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for visual storytelling and a strong understanding of both video production and photography. As a Photographer/ Videographer, you will be responsible for capturing high-quality photo video content of dealership vehicles. This role requires collaboration with various departments to ensure that all visual materials effectively communicate our message.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the creative team to conceptualize and produce engaging video content for various platforms.
• Operate cameras and other equipment to capture high-quality footage, ensuring proper framing, lighting, and sound.
• Edit video footage using Adobe Creative Suite, focusing on storytelling, pacing, and overall visual appeal.
• Apply color management techniques to enhance the quality of the final product, utilizing knowledge of color theory.
• Conduct photo manipulation as needed to create compelling visuals that complement video content.
• Stay updated on industry trends in videography and photography to continuously improve skills and techniques.
• Assist in the planning and execution of shoots, including location scouting and talent coordination.
• Maintain organized project files and archives for easy access during post-production.

Requirements

• Proven experience in videography or a related field, showcasing a strong portfolio of work.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Familiarity with Capture One for photo editing and color management.
• Strong understanding of color theory and its application in video production.
• Experience in photography with an eye for composition and detail.
• Knowledge of film production processes, including pre-production, shooting, and post-production workflows.
• Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Background in journalism is a plus, as it enhances storytelling capabilities through visual media.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $650.00 - $975.00 per week

Expected hours: 35 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Day shift

Experience:

• Photography: 2 years (Required)
• Videography: 2 years (Preferred)
