Subcontractor - Countertop Installer
Columbus, OH Area
Estimated: $8–$10 per sq ft (based on experience)
Do you enjoy hands-on work and traveling locally? Classic Rock Fabrication is seeking experienced subcontractor countertop installers in the Columbus, OH region. As a subcontractor, you’ll use your own truck and tools to deliver and install high-quality countertops in residential and commercial settings.
This opportunity is perfect for skilled tradespeople in the countertop or tile installation industry who take pride in delivering excellent workmanship and customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Lead installations using your own truck and equipment
- Install countertops, including mitered edge waterfalls
- Maintain a clean and safe job site
- Provide a professional customer experience
- Assist with adjustments or materials needed to complete each job
- Track tools and supplies on-site
Requirements:
- Previous experience in countertop or tile installation required
- Must own a reliable truck and all necessary tools
- Ability to read a tape measure and use hand tools
- Capable of lifting, carrying, and moving 150 lbs
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to work extended hours as needed (Monday through Friday, starting at 7:00 AM)
Compensation:
- This is a subcontractor role paid by the square foot
- Invoices are paid as submitted (not on a fixed schedule)
