ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Design Center Specialist Assistant
· Provide highest level customer service.
· Answer the phones to schedule design appointments.
· Assist homeowners with stone, edge profile, and sink selections.
· Mark materials for hold from customer selections.
· Maintain Material Hold Log by updating customer holds as needed.
· Receive incoming products and materials.
· Communicate with Purchasing Department daily to maintain optimal inventory levels.
******Occasional evening hours and every other Saturday required.******
Receiver
· Notify and/or deliver incoming product to end user.
· Verify each receipt has necessary documentation (packing slip etc.) to support computer system entries.
· Complete daily Receiving entries in computer system.
· Send digital copies of packing slips to Purchasing.
· Maintain raw material and critical supply inventories.
· Maintain and clean inventory area, including organization of inventory and racking.
· Assist with inventory cycle counting.
· Maintain physical counts of raw material and tag controls required.
· Process all outbound shipments.
· Perform general housekeeping, maintenance, and organization of the Design Center.
· Facilitate the Slab Smith photo process as required.
· Uphold Classic Rock’s Core Values.
· Perform other duties as assigned by Management to support the Company’s vision and mission.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively communicate with colleagues and vendors. Must speak fluent English.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram and/or schedule form.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Valid Driver’s License
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The position will require the following physical activities on a regular basis; Stooping, crouching, reaching, standing, sitting, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing, handling, and repetitive motions.
The maximum amount of weight required to be lifted will be less than 125 pounds.
