What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Supervisor position at Classic Tents & Events?
Essential Functions:

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for minor to major repairs, as well as performing planned maintenance on all electric, gas and propane forklifts, electric/manual pallet jacks, cherry pickers, and all other material handling equipment.
Performs preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment.
Follows up on all internal repair orders (IROs); once repaired, returns item into the system.
Changes oil, sparkplugs, filters etc. on all equipment.
Adjusts bearings and replaces brushes.
Maintains a maintenance log.
Cleans and maintains equipment in ready-to-operate condition.
Keeps repair area organized.
Repairs and maintains non-motorized/ non-electrical equipment.
Monitors the parts/supply inventory.
Informs managers/supervisors of parts/supplies needed for repairs.
Assists other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to customers.
Performs additional duties as needed.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent GED.
Demonstrated knowledge of electrical systems.
Must be able to lift approximately 20-40 lbs. consistently; up to 70 lbs. occasionally.
Must have weekend availability.
Ready to work at a short times notice.
