Job Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications and systems that meet business requirements
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers to define and implement features
- Participate in code reviews, testing and debugging to ensure high-quality software delivery
- Optimize software for performance, scalability, and reliability
- Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and industry trends to continuously improve our process and products
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the team's technical growth
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5 years of professional software development experience
- Proficiency in Javascript or Python, proficiency in NodeJS, ReactJS, NextJS, NextJS preferred
- Knowledge of database systems, both relational (e.g., MS Sql Server, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB)
- Experience with modern software development practices, including Agile methodologies, version control (Git), and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong understanding of data structures and system design principles
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is preferred
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team
