This position qualifies for a hire on bonus of $5000 with half paid with first check after hire and half paid with first check following six month probationary period.

Clatsop Behavioral Healthcare is seeking a full-time Residential Clinician QMHP at the North Coast Crisis Respite/Residential Center (NCCRC). This position will be able to function as part of an inter-disciplinary team and possess flexibility to assist fellow team members to provide continuity and consistency of care to the agency’s clients. This position will be responsible for an assigned caseload of the residential and respite clients at NCCRC. Performing Mental Health Assessments, Assessment Updates, Treatment plans and Crisis Respite Individual Service Plans in keeping with agency standards. The Residential Clinician will provide short-term individual and group counseling and therapy to assigned caseload and document all contacts in keeping with agency standards. All services to clients will be closely tied to the Treatment Plans. This position may initiate treatment plans, provide case management and care coordination and provide clinical leadership and oversight to QMHA staff working at NCCRC.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide assessment interviews for all new, current residents and crisis respite clients to obtain comprehensive information regarding presenting problems within a timely manner. This includes the ability to conclude and assign diagnoses.
- Assist the client in developing a meaningful Treatment Plan in accordance with OARs.
- Provide services that are tied to the Treatment Plan.
- Provide case management services as needed to assigned caseload.
- Provide group and individual counseling in keeping with Evidence-based Practices.
- Participate in regular team and agency meetings.
- Complete and maintain all clinical documents and client files according to compliance standards with the State of Oregon Administrative Rules and standards established at CBH. This includes, but is not limited to, the timely completion of Intake Interviews, Mental Health Assessments, Assessment Updates, and Progress Notes.
- Will maintain productivity in keeping with agency expectations and standards. This includes the timely discharge and termination of clients.
- Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards of the profession.
- Report critical incidents or alleged client abuses to the CBH Abuse Investigator or outside agencies as needed.
Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in the Behavioral Sciences from an accredited university
- Required to have and maintain an Oregon or Washington Driver's license and meet the agency's insurance carrier's insurance standards at the time of hire, motor vehicle record report required
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
Preferred:
- At least three years of outpatient or residential clinical experience working with individuals with an SMPI diagnosis.
