Summary

We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team at Claude H. Nix Construction Company. This position is posted for part time. However, the possibility of working to eventual full time is there. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing clerical and administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the office. This role involves assisting multiple departments, including Human Resources and Accounts Payable, by performing a variety of tasks such as answering phones, maintaining records, and supporting financial processes.

Required Skills

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with general office equipment.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

General Job Duties

  • Answer and direct phone calls in a professional manner.
  • Assist the Human Resources department with administrative tasks, including record-keeping and general office support.
  • Support social media efforts by assisting with posts as needed.
  • Aid the Accounts Payable department in processing financial transactions and learning job costing procedures.
  • Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and document preparation.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies and procedures.
