Claudy's Kitchen in The Bronx, NY is looking for one host/ server to join our 9 person strong team. We are located on 5981 Broadway. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, and hard-working.

Responsibilities

Manage reservations

Answer phone calls and make reservations

Greeting customers

Collect payments from tables

Take and serve orders

Answer questions about the Menu

Make menu recommendations to guests

Clear Tables

Service

Initiate and maintain wait lists

Managing the seating chart

Seat guests and provide menus

Ability to work without constant supervision

Addressing customer concerns

Arrange table settings

Assists restaurant staff when necessary

Attend to customers upon entrance

Communicating wait times to guests

Follow all relevant health department regulations

Greeting diners seated at their tables

Keep their section clean

Qualifications

High school diploma

Attention to detail

Mathematics

Communication skills

Interpersonal communication

Teamwork

Attentiveness and patience for customers

Efficiency and multitasking

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Flexibility to work flex shifts and weekends

Management

Multitask

Physical stamina

Prior restaurant experience is preferred
