Pipe welder for refrigeration systems. Must be able to produce quality welds and have working knowledge of piping systems.
Duties
- Cut, assemble, install, and weld pipe to ASME B31.3 radiographic inspection
- Install pipe supports
- Install valves and instruments
- Material handling
- Maintain clean work environment
- Operate lifts and other equipment
Accountability
- Enforce safety
- Project installation quality
- Individual schedule and work completion
- Compliance with Clauger, customer and code standards
- Maintain a field culture driven by customer satisfaction, quality and efficiency
Coordination - Maintain coordination and communication with customers and other trades
Goals
- Maintain 100% weld quality
- Maintain budgeted labor hours
Work Environment
- Active construction site, with typical hazards associated with industrial work. Employee will be required to wear PPE and work in a safe manner.
- Full-time. Non-standard working days and hours required.
- Travel required: As needed, up to 25%
- Three years welding experience
- Work authorization
- Skills: stick welder- smaw, tig- gtaw
- Weld test given: 2 inch coupon in 6g position. Pipe schedule 40
