The Houston office of a national law firm is seeking a mid-senior level General Liability Attorney with experience in general liability, personal injury, transportation, and/or catastrophic injury. This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys with 3-8 years of litigation experience to grow in their careers with exposure to a wide variety of prominent national clients.
Qualifications
- JD from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice in Texas
- 3-8 years of defense litigation
- Experience with defending Personal Injury, General Liability, Catastrophic Injury, Transportation, and other civil litigation matters preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Client-facing experience preferred
- Ability to integrate into a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Legal project management experience is helpful
- First chair trial experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Independently manage a litigation caseload, working cases from beginning to end
- Work closely and collaborate with other attorneys and partners
- Regular trial preparation, investigation, court appearances, mediations and depositions
- Communicate with clients and provide reports
