Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve deli items including meats, cheeses, salads, and sandwiches according to company standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and answering questions about menu items.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of any shortages.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
• Handle food safely and responsibly, adhering to all food service guidelines.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food preparation or food service is preferred
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Familiarity with retail math concepts is a plus for managing inventory and sales.
• Experience working in a café or quick service fast food restaurant is beneficial.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as required by the role.
