Job Description
Analyzing, researching, and drafting briefs addressing sophisticated legal issues in complex litigation, ranging from state and federal court motions to dismiss, motions for summary judgment, motions to compel, and appeals.
Managing all phases of personal injury and litigation cases, from intake to settlement.
Conducting thorough case investigations to determine liability and damages.
Engaging in discovery requests, depositions, and mediation.
Drafting pleadings and motions.
Preparing discovery documents, briefs, and research.
Making court appearances for hearings and trials.
Providing legal advice to clients.
Assisting in managing client relationships.
Qualifications :
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Applicants must be licensed to practice law in South Carolina.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Preferred experience includes insurance coverage, municipal law, administrative law, and / or personal injury defense.
