Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Custodian to join our facilities team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our school buildings, operating light maintenance and cleaning equipment, and performing other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities:
- Operate light maintenance and cleaning equipment (e.g. mowers, edgers, vacuum cleaners, scrubbers, extractors).
- Move objects weighing up to fifty (50) pounds safely.
- Climb a six ft ladder safely.
- Follow written instructions independently.
- Use chemicals and compounds used in the custodial process safely after suitable instruction.
- Operate, care for, and use all assigned custodial equipment safely after suitable training.
