Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Attorney to join our team. As a key member of our legal department, you will work closely with local authorities to ensure that justice is served in a fair and timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal representation for the State of Minnesota and/or Clay County in various court proceedings
- Litigate cases involving felonies, misdemeanors, and traffic offenses
- Collaborate with local authorities to address issues related to child support, guardianships, commitments, and other matters
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must possess a strong understanding of law enforcement principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A Juris Doctor degree and licensure to practice law in the State of Minnesota are also required.
