Clay County Missouri has an opportunity for someone who is organized with strong math skills and attention to detail when working with numbers for a part-time position at Smithville Lake as the Bookkeeper. This position works independently with general oversight recording transactions, preparing financial statements and bank deposits, and ensuring compliance with applicable standards. The position will complete tasks work less that 20 hours per week.
The ideal candidate will hold a high school diploma or equivalent; be proficient in MS Office applications, with expert skills in Excel; and knowledge of accounting principles, practices and record keeping. Experience with Vermont Systems RecTrac is a plus, but not required.
