What are the responsibilities and job description for the Deputy Sheriff position at Clay County Sheriff's Office (MO)?
This is an entry level position for commissioned personnel. Candidates must be 21 years of age, have a valid Class A PEACE officers license through MO POST and be a Missouri resident at the time of Commission.
Current shift assignments are as follows 7am - 7pm or 7pm - 7am. Must be able to work any shift assigned.
Responsible for maintaining security, processes individuals in and out of detention facility, supervises and controls all inmate activities.
Starting Salary: $26.44/hour, $55,000/year plus uniform allowance and full benefits available.
