Administrative Assistant
Job Summary: The Administrative Assistant will primarily be responsible for answering phones, assisting walk-in customers, and providing coverage for personnel during PTO. This role requires a high level of organization, strong customer service skills, and the ability to adapt to different office tasks as needed.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls professionally and efficiently.
- Assist walk-in customers with inquiries and service needs.
- Provide coverage for personnel during PTO by handling administrative tasks as needed.
- Perform data entry, maintain records, and manage office correspondence.
- Support other departments as necessary with administrative duties.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and office equipment.
- High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in an administrative support role preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
