Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in lean manufacturing or process improvement roles (Injection Molding experience preferred).
- Deep knowledge of Lean principles (Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, SMED, etc.) and proficiency in Six Sigma methodologies (DMAIC, DMADV).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Ability to use statistical tools to measure and improve process quality (SPC, process control charts, etc.).
- Ability to identify the root causes of problems and implement corrective actions.
- Ability to define and monitor performance indicators (KPIs) to track process improvements.
- Expertise in leading and managing change within organizations, ensuring smooth transitions during process improvements.
- Proficiency in office automation tools for creating graphs, diagrams and logic diagrams (Visio), tables (Excel) and presentations (PowerPoint).
- Professional command of English: read, written and spoken.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Lean Six Sigma certification (greenbelt or blackbelt).
- Experience with project management methodologies.
- Familiarity with manufacturing software and tools.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of current manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement lean manufacturing strategies, including value stream mapping, 5S, and Kaizen events.
- Collaborate with production teams to train and mentor staff on lean principles and best practices.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of lean initiatives.
- Facilitate continuous improvement projects and report on progress to management.
