Fabrication Shop Structural Fitter
Claymar Industrial is currently seeking experienced structural Fitters to join our team. This position will be full-time at our Fabrication Shop located in Maurepas, LA. Qualifications:
- Must have the ability to read and interpret blueprints, ISO's field installations, material takeoffs, field sketches, and understand specifications.
- Measuring and Cutting correct type and size of various structural components using tools such as but not limited to bandsaw, plasma machine, or cutting torch.
- Assembling and installing using tools like brackets, clamps, and hangers to secure materials to various structures.
- Ability to problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
- Must work well with others and be capable of constructively collaborating with peers.
- Demonstrate an unusually high level of enthusiasm and commitment to the construction industry.
