What are the responsibilities and job description for the Forklift Operator/Material Handler position at Claymex Brick & Tile, Inc.?
- Unload materials received
- Verifying that the receiving tickets are correct
- Position materials on yard as required to keep products separated and organized
- Load materials per shipping tickets and prepare loads for shipping
- Maintain yard in neat and working order
- Conduct physical inventories
- Repackage materials as necessary for shipping and/or handling
- Dispose of damaged material and prepare scrap reports
- Inspect and schedule maintenance for delivery trucks, forklifts, and other equipment
- Maintain stock of packing, maintenance, and other materials as needed
- Keep warehouse clean and organized
- Responsible for Diesel Tank and Dumpster
- Prepare mockups for customers
- Maintain yard displays
- Help with walk in customers and invoice when needed
- Yard maintenance
- Mow grass in front and back of yard as required
- Kill and remove weeds
- Blow off gravel from paved surfaces
- Trim trees
- Maintain fences and gates in good working order
- Pick up and dispose of trash
- Maintain yard surfaces and schedule approved maintenance
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $2,000.00 - $2,400.00 per month
