Summary:
Responsible for assembling and building cabinets from raw materials or pre-cut parts in a production or custom woodworking environment. Ensures high-quality craftsmanship, precision, and adherence to design specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and cut lists
Measure, cut, and assemble cabinet components using hand and power tools
Install hardware such as hinges, drawer slides, and handles
Sand, finish, and inspect completed cabinets for defects or inconsistencies
Operate machinery like table saws, edge banders, and routers
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all safety protocols and production timelines
Requirements:
Prior experience in cabinet making or woodworking preferred
Proficiency with carpentry tools and machinery
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
Ability to read and understand technical drawings
Physically able to lift and move materials as needed
Good communication and teamwork skills
