Workday Reporting Analyst
This role is an essential part of the HRIS Team within People Operations, working to deliver solutions by building reports and tools to provide insight into our people data. The role will support daily HR reporting and data operations for the enterprise, participate in important compliance and internal audit procedures, and contribute to the catalog of reports and tools maintained by the team. This hands-on role will require close collaboration with the different teams within Clayton.
Workday Reporting Analyst Duties
Workday Reporting
- Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain analytics solutions leveraging Workday which are visually appealing, intuitively present information, and meet the needs of the business. Workday scope includes, but is not limited to, advanced, matrix, and composite reports.
Data Analysis and SQL
- Develop efficient, well-performing SQL queries. Data retrieval and transformation skills using SQL – Microsoft SQL Service (T-SQL) preferred
- Complete data analysis of varying complexity in Excel and provide summarized results which can be leveraged by stakeholders
- Utilize a ticket management system to organize and track problems as they arise, while providing resolution to requesters as problems are solved.
Tableau Reporting
- Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain analytics solutions leveraging Tableau which are
Workday Reporting Analyst Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study such as Business, Analytics, Math, Statistics, or Computer Science; equivalent technical and HR experience would also be considered
Years of Related Experience: 2 years of report development experience. Workday HCM report development experience preferred. 2 years of SQL report development experience. 1 years developing Human Resources reports.
Workday Reporting Analyst Skills
- Workday HCM experience preferred
- Familiarity with Tableau preferred
- Knowledge of Visual Studio, SQL Server Reporting Studio (SSRS), or equivalent reporting tools preferred
- SQL development experience
- Strong experience in Microsoft Excel
- Report life-cycle management
- Sound ethical judgment and the ability to be trusted to work with sensitive information
- Detail-oriented with good organization and project management skills
- Can operate independently and prioritize work requirements with supervision
- Team player, self-starter, and motivated with the ability to multi-task while meeting deadlines
- Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills and the ability to interact with a diverse group of team members, including HR staff, managers, technology professionals, and subject matter experts.
- Documenting recurring processes and solutions
- Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Practical understanding of the HR discipline including Benefits, HR, Learning, Payroll, Recruiting, and Talent Management
- Experience documenting requirements and test cases preferred
